Marcus Scott Joseph

Marcus finished 8th grade with flying colors. He was in the gifted and talented program in math, english, and science. He plays the saxaphone in band and is getting very good. He is planning on playing the sax in Jazz band in high school. He has also taught himself how to play the keyboard and likes it very much. He has a guitar now and is starting to pick tunes that he learned on the keyboard. I'm sure he will be good at that soon also.

He started out spring ball with the Rockhounds as a tournament team and played Legion C and B ball. All told last summer and fall he played somewhere around 100 baseball games. He loved every minute. He is playing spring ball with Eaton. He starts JV and plays varsity when the shortstop goes in to pitch. He got to play at Coors field and thought that was REALLY cool. It helped that they won big. He had 4 balls hit at him and made the play all 4 times.

He ran cross country this fall and really enjoyed it. He wrestled 119's this winter and thought it was really cool that he gained 10 pounds the week after wrestling was over.

He sings in the mens choir and they also received a rating of 1 in their competition. They have about 20 young men and it is great to watch and listen to them sing. They steal the show at every concert. Great choreography, good song choices and a talented teacher makes it fun for them.

He walked up to me last week and started laughing and just said, "I can't believe how short you are mom." He is so funny.

Marcus

Hey this is me, Marcus. As you can see I am also getting into computer programming and web design and learning fast. I have taught myself most of batch programming already and it wasn't too hard, so I decided I would step it up to web designing. I have learned basic syntax and am applying it. I hope that by the end of this summer my mom will buy me a domain when I design my own webpage. (If I do I will put the link here) Right now I am testing out how to put a video on my page and since you probably have read that I play keyboard I will post my youtube video right here if it works. (Oh, and by the way, ignore my glowing legs in the cross country picture. They are a tad disturbing.)
