Kristen is 17 and is most of the year through her Junior year. We found a great little car for her to drive so she thinks she needs to drive all over the front range. She got to drive the minivan to school for a few weeks before she learned to drive a stick shift. Nothing like a minivan to provide motivation.
This fall she got to go to 2 comecomings. She got to buy 2 dresses and do her hair and nails twice. What more can a girl ask for? She will go to prom this weekend with 5 other couples. She is excited to be riding in a mustang caravan. All said, they will have 3 mustangs for the kids to ride in and she is sure that will be very impressive.
She is working at the FunPlex doing kid care and loves getting paid. She has a few kids that she loves to come in. Especially the cute babies.
She is in women's choir and had a part in a octet solo that was great. There are about 70 girls and she had to try out in front of the whole class to get the part. They participated in a judging contest and got a rating of 1, which is the highest mark possible. She was very excited.
She is excited and a little worried about being a senior and is amazed at how fast the year has gone. Aren't we all?
Junior Prom was fun. They went with 10 other people which made it even more fun. And nails... who doesn't love a beautiful set of nails, pretty jewelry, cute dress and braided hair?
